Dell introduces two types of all in one touchscreen computer with elegant design, the Dell inspiron all in one computer with Intel and AMD processors. How do you compare Dell Inspiron 2320 Intel Vs Dell Inspiron 2305 AMD?
The Dell Inspiron One 2320 is based on Intel processor with the following features:
- 2nd generation of Intel Core i3 up to i7 processors
- Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium
- Up to 8GB Memory & 2TB hard drive
- 2.67″ thin
- Built-in HD Webcam & JBL Speakers
And the second one is 23” Dell Inspiron 2305 AMD with the following highlights:
- AMD Athlon II X2 processors
- Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium
- Up to 4GB Memory & 1TB hard drive
- 3.54″ thin
- Built-in 2MB Webcam & basic Speakers
From the above spec highlights they have main differences in processor used; the webcam / speaker and the thickness of the all in one computer. So that’s why the price of Dell inspiron 2320 with Intel Core i3 ($900) can be 25% more expensive than the Dell inspiron 2305 with AMD Athlon™ II X2 in basic configurations. But HP Omni 220xt series with basic configuration starts from $800 using Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400S quad-core processor, when this written.
Memory no significant difference, each Dell all in one touchscreen computer has basic configuration memory 4GB, 1Dimms in Inspiron 3220 and 2DIMMS in Inspiron 3205. Hard drives are the same 1TB with 7200rpm.
Dell inspiron 3220 all in one touchscreen computer can be configured for Intel HD graphics based on the processor you use. You have choices weather you use Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 with Intel HD graphics HD 2000 or HD 3000. Both HD 2000 and HD 3000 graphics come in Intel Core i3-5xxx, i5-2xxx or i7-2xxx processor series. Intel graphics HD 3000 would perform much better in 3D applications. While the Dell inspiron 3205 uses ATI Radeon HD 4270. With HP Omni 220xt you have choices of integrated graphics: 1GB NVIDIA GeForce 520m; 2GB AMD Radeon HD 6550A; or 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M.
The inspiron 3205 AMD supports Wi-Fi with 802.11n technology which is ideal in connecting to your wireless N router in home. But the 3220 series supports only Wi-Fi with 802.11b/g technology which is slower than the wireless N standard. Both the Intel and the AMD series support gigabit Ethernet port; so you can maximize the usage by connecting direct to any types of wireless router with gigabit ports such as Linksys E4200 or the new WNDR4500 N900 router. Or if you build a small business computer network in home or small office with Apple Mac Mini server you can join the network using gigabit connection for optimum data rate throughput to support your high-bandwidth applications.
