Unlike Surfboard SBG900, the Surfboard SBG6580 is DOCSIS®/ EuroDOCSIS 3.0 compliant – the latest generation of high speed cable infrastructure. With DOCSIS®/ EuroDOCSIS 3.0, the modem enables the channel bonding of up to 8 downstream and 4 upstream channels.
Surfboard SBG900 wireless cable modem is powered by wireless N with dual band support. Unfortunately it is not simultaneous dual band but selectable. You can select the modem to work in either 2.4GHz or 5GHz band to suit your client’s requirements.
