For me it was a journey to discover all the great feature of the BitDefender Internet Security 2009. At first, an anti-virus was something that you installed on your computer and did the job(protecting the computer). That's why, at that time I couldn't understand what's the fuss about all the anti-virus solution on the market, I thought they were all the same. Now(after 10 years!!) I know a lot more about computers and I understand that an anti-virus solution is an interactive software. You can customize it to be suited to your needs. What I love the most about BitDefender's features is Laptop Mode. It's a unique characteristic(I didn't find it in any other anti-virus solution!) that helps me not waste the battery (when I'm not plugged-in). My brother(we share the laptop, unfortunately!) loves, on the other hand, the Game Mode. This feature allows him to play games without intrusion, but still being protected.He's also very into the IM encryption, because this way I cannot check what he's talking with his friends when he's online:))). There is no perfect anti-virus but when choosing one for my computer I pick the best technology(for others might be more important another criteria). What I know now and I want to share is that there's more about an anti-virus solution than a simple protection. You have to choose what's best for you. I chose BitDefender after trying other products(which were also good, but not offering the same complete solution for my computer's needs) and I'm very happy with it.
